These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Storie Design's Website, located at www.storiedesign.com.

By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Storie Design if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and all Agreements: "Client", "You" and "Your" refers to you, the person log on this website and compliant to the Company’s terms and conditions. "The Company", "Ourselves", "We", "Our" and "Us", refers to our Company. "Party", "Parties", or "Us", refers to both the Client and ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance, and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of the provision of the Company’s stated services, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of Netherlands. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization, and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

Parts of this website offer an opportunity for users to post and exchange opinions and information in certain areas of the website. Storie Design does not filter, edit, publish or review Comments prior to their presence on the website. Comments do not reflect the views and opinions of Storie Design, its agents, and/or affiliates. Comments reflect the views and opinions of the person who posts their views and opinions. To the extent permitted by applicable laws, Storie Design shall not be liable for the Comments or for any liability, damages, or expenses caused and/or suffered as a result of any use of and/or posting of and/or appearance of the Comments on this website.

Storie Design reserves the right to monitor all Comments and to remove any Comments which can be considered inappropriate, offensive, or cause a breach of these Terms and Conditions.

You warrant and represent that:

You are entitled to post the Comments on our website and have all necessary licenses and consents to do so;
The Comments do not invade any intellectual property right, including without limitation copyright, patent, or trademark of any third party;
The Comments do not contain any defamatory, libelous, offensive, indecent, or otherwise unlawful material which is an invasion of privacy
The Comments will not be used to solicit or promote business or custom or present commercial activities or unlawful activity.

You hereby grant Storie Design a non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, edit and authorize others to use, reproduce and edit any of your Comments in any and all forms, formats, or media.

Registration and Eligibility

Account Types and Registration. Anyone may browse the public-facing pages of the Website, and Service and take the style profile, but to start the custom design plan, the client must register.
Client. To become a Storie Design Client, you must provide your zip code, phone number, email address, name, and password. You will also take a user survey (to help us determine your preferred design styles), provide us photos of your space, and provide us with additional information about your room and project.
Account Security. Your account is personal to you, and you may not share your account information with, or allow access to your account by, any third party. As you will be responsible for all activity that occurs under your access credentials, you agree to use reasonable efforts to prevent unauthorized access to or use of the Service and to preserve the confidentiality of your username and password, and any device that you use to access the Service. You agree to notify us immediately of any breach in secrecy of your log-in information. If you have any reason to believe that your account information has been compromised or that your account has been accessed by a third party, you agree to immediately notify Storie Design by e-mail to hello@storiedesign.com. You will be solely responsible for the losses incurred by Storie Design and others due to any unauthorized use of your account.

Content You Submit

If you are a Client, you may be able to create, post, or share content, such as messages, comments, or pictures of your space, floor plans, and household objects, on or through the Service ("Your Content") with Storie Design. Your Content may be made public, so do not upload any confidential content. Storie Design claims no ownership or control over Your Content. You or a third-party licensor, as appropriate, retain all copyright, patent, and trademark rights to any of Your Content that you post on or through the Service. You are responsible for protecting those rights. Separately, you may give Storie Design the right to share photos or record videos of areas of your home after the design services are complete (“After Images”).

License Grants to Storie Design

By creating, posting, or sharing Your Content on or through the Service, or allowing Storie Design to obtain After Images, you grant Storie Design a worldwide, non-exclusive, sub-licensable, royalty-free, fully paid, transferable, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, modify, remove, publish, transmit, or display Your Content and After Images in any and all media or form of communication now existing or hereinafter developed in order to operate Storie Design’s business, and to provide Services, including, without limitation, (a) facilitate a design or recommended product list for the Client (b) advertise and promote the Service, and (c) with regard to After Images only, for any lawful business purpose.

You Must Have Rights to the Content You Post. The posting and use of Your Content on or through the Service, or of the After Images does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, contract rights, intellectual property rights, or any other rights of any person, and (iii) the posting of Your Content on the Service does not result in a breach of contract between you and a third party. You agree to pay for all royalties, fees, and any other monies owing any person by reason of Your Content that you post on or through the Service You also acknowledge and agree that Your Content and After Images is non-confidential and non-proprietary.

Hyperlinking to our Content

The following organizations may link to our Website without prior written approval:

Government agencies;
Search engines;
News organizations;
Online directory distributors may link to our Website in the same manner as they hyperlink to the Websites of other listed businesses; and
System-wide Accredited Businesses except soliciting non-profit organizations, charity shopping malls, and charity fundraising groups which may not hyperlink to our Web site.

These organizations may link to our home page, to publications, or to other Website information so long as the link: (a) is not in any way deceptive; (b) does not falsely imply sponsorship, endorsement, or approval of the linking party and its products and/or services; and (c) fits within the context of the linking party’s site.

If you are one of the organizations listed in paragraph 2 above and are interested in linking to our website, you must inform us by sending an e-mail to Storie Design. Please include your name, your organization name, contact information as well as the URL of your site, a list of any URLs from which you intend to link to our Website, and a list of the URLs on our site to which you would like to link. Wait 2-3 weeks for a response.

Approved organizations may hyperlink to our Website as follows:

By use of our corporate name; or
By use of the uniform resource locator being linked to; or
By use of any other description of our Website being linked to that makes sense within the context and format of content on the linking party’s site.

No use of Storie Design's logo or other artwork will be allowed for linking absent a trademark license agreement.

Without prior approval and written permission, you may not create frames around our Webpages that alter in any way the visual presentation or appearance of our Website.

Content Liability

We shall not be held responsible for any content that appears on your Website. You agree to protect and defend us against all claims that are rising on your Website. No link(s) should appear on any Website that may be interpreted as libelous, obscene, or criminal, or which infringes, otherwise violates, or advocates the infringement or other violation of, any third party rights.

Third-Party Links

The Site may provide, or third parties may provide, links to other internet sites or resources. Because we have no control over such sites and resources, we are not responsible for the availability of such external sites or resources, and do not endorse and are not responsible or liable for any content, advertising, products, or other materials on or available from such sites or resources. We shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of, or reliance on, any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such site or resource. When you visit or use a third party's website you agree to read and consent to the third party's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and release us from any liability.

Design Services

Each user of the Services will receive design recommendations based on the questionnaire, pictures, videos, or other material submitted by the user. Design is inherently subjective, however, and you agree that Storie Design cannot and does not warrant or guarantee your satisfaction with design services and/or ideas you receive on the Storie Design Site. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Storie Design will take such reasonable steps, in Storie Design's sole discretion, to ensure your satisfaction, including but not limited to those measures set forth in our Refund Policy. This offer is valid for six (6) months from the purchase date. Should you need more time in starting your project, please contact us at hello@storiedesign.com.

While Storie Design has made every effort to portray recommended products and their colors and materials in the most accurate way on the Website, the displayed colors of the products will depend upon the monitor of the user and cannot be guaranteed by Storie Design as an accurate portrayal of the actual color or material of the product. We also make our best to estimate the scale of your space based on photos provided, but can’t guarantee that all recommended products will fit your space. Customers are required to measure their space to ensure that items fit prior to purchasing.

STORIE DESIGN DOES NOT GUARANTEE OR WARRANTY ANY OF THE PRODUCTS OR MERCHANDISE PURCHASED BY YOU THROUGH THE USE OF OUR SERVICES OR THOSE SERVICES OF A SERVICE PROVIDER. YOUR ONLY RECOURSE OR REMEDY FOR GUARANTEE OR WARRANTY CLAIMS IS DIRECTLY WITH THE MANUFACTURER OR PRODUCER OF THE MERCHANDISE.

While Storie Design will attempt to ensure that all retail product links are current in order to scripts users with purchasing design materials, there is no guarantee that the furniture or accessories recommended by Storie Design will be available for purchase at all or within a specific time frame defined by the customer in their questionnaire. If prices are provided as part of the design service recommendation, there is no guarantee that the price is the lowest price or that the customer will find the article at a similar price when they order.

Storie Design grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access storiedesign.com and to use the information and services contained here. Storie Design reserves the right, for any reason or for no reason, in its sole discretion and without notice to you, to revise the products and services described on storiedesign.com and to terminate, change, suspend or discontinue any aspect of the Web Site, including, but not limited to, the Materials and Our Content on the WebSite as well as features and/or hours of availability of Storie Design, and Storie Design will not be liable to you or to any third party for doing so.

Refund Policy on Paid Services

If you are not satisfied with your Paid Services experience with Storie Design services, then you may request specific remedies to correct the situation by emailing hello@storiedesign.com. At Storie Design’s sole discretion, we may offer a refund in those situations where a remedy is not possible or does not correct the issue. You can request a refund by emailing hello@storiedesign.com.

Reservation of Rights

We reserve the right to request that you remove all links or any particular link to our Website. You approve to immediately remove all links to our Website upon request. We also reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions and its linking policy at any time. By continuously linking to our Website, you agree to be bound to and follow these linking terms and conditions.

Storie Design's Liability

Changes to the Service. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, including hours of operation or availability of the Service or any feature, without notice or liability.
User Disputes. We are not responsible for any disputes or disagreements between you and any third party you interact with using the Service. This includes disputes between Clients and designers. You assume all risks associated with dealing with third parties and designers. You agree to resolve disputes directly with the other party. You release Storie Design of all claims, demands, and damages in disputes among users of the Service. You shall not involve us in such disputes. Use caution and common sense when using the Service.
Content Accuracy. We make no representations about the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of any contents of the Service, including designs. Similarly, we make no representations about the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of any data from a third-party service provider or the quality or nature of third-party products or services obtained through the Service. Use the Service at your own risk.
Third-Party Websites. The Service may include links to third-party websites and applications. You are responsible for evaluating whether you want to access or use them. We are not responsible for and do not endorse any features, content, advertising, products, or other materials on other websites or applications. You assume all risks and we disclaim all liability arising from your use of them.

We make no promises and disclaim all liability of specific results from the use of the Service.

Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this contract, including any question regarding its existence, validity, or termination, shall be referred to and finally resolved by the International Commercial Arbitration Court under the European Arbitration Chamber according to the Rules of this ICAC, which, as a result of referring to it, is considered as the part of this clause. The number of arbitrators shall be three (3). The seat, or legal place, of arbitration, shall be Ankara, Turkey. The language of the proceedings shall be English/Turkish. The governing law of the contract shall be the substantive law of Turkey.

Removal of links from our website

If you find any link on our Website that is offensive for any reason, you are free to contact and inform us at any moment. We will consider requests to remove links but we are not obligated to or so or to respond to you directly.

We do not ensure that the information on this website is correct, we do not warrant its completeness or accuracy; nor do we promise to ensure that the website remains available or that the material on the website is kept up to date.
